The Chapel Project’s creative team are very excited to have Sally Whitwell coming to Dubbon on July 27 & 28 to work with Harmony Singers Dubbo, community members interested in being part of the project AND high school students involved in choir, band or elective music, as well as their teachers.
This is a fabulous opportunity to work with a professional musician, recording artist and composer of the highest calibre – one of Australia’s brightest and most contemporary musical talents, fresh from a tour of China and Mongolia with the Sydney Children’s Choir and Gondwana National Indigenous Children’s Choir.
The Dubbo workshops with Sally Whitwell will be:
Monday, July 27: Community/choir workshop #1 (information session & sign up), Western Plains Cultural Centre Community Arts Centre, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Tuesday, July 28: High school student/teacher workshops – times/venues TBA
Tuesday, July 28: Community/choir workshop #2 (continuation of workshop #1), Venue TBA, 6.30pm – 8.30pm
